Elaine has always had a deep connection to the natural world around her and enjoys taking part in translating nature's magnificence to canvas. Landscapes have always been her passion, where shapes, textures and lighting always offer an endless source of subjects and challenges. Elaine was born into a family of musicians and grew up in Massachusetts with seven siblings, all with various artistic talents of their own. She began her own artistic journey at the age of 12 with her first set of oil paints and has been studying and painting art ever since. She has studied art through classes and workshops with many well known artists in the U.S. and internationally. A national award winning artist she has earned numerous awards...
